INGREDIENTS
Vinaigrette
- 3 Tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 1/4 tsp sea salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup Acala Farms Pure Cottonseed Oil
- 4 cups spinach washed and dried
- 2 cups bite-sized pieces of romaine lettuce
- 5 strawberries, sliced
- 1-1/2 oranges peeled
- 1/4 cup blue cheese
METHOD
- To prepare the vinaigrette, whisk together balsamic vinegar, salt and pepper in a small bowl. Gradually whisk in Acala Farms Pure Cottonseed Oil until emulsified.
- Place greens in a salad bowl. Add sliced strawberries. Sliced one peeled orange into rounds, then cut rounds in half.
- Squeeze the juice of the remaining half orange over all ingredients in the bowl. Sprinkle blue cheese over the salad and toss with enough vinaigrette to balance the greens.
