Buttery Garlic Hot Wings

INGREDIENTS
  • 4 Tbsp Acala Farms Fresh Roasted Garlic Cottonseed Oil
  • 1 Tbsp cayenne pepper
  • 2 Tbsp dijon mustard
  • 1 Tbsp black pepper
  • 2 tsp Acala Farms Chili Cumin Cottonseed Oil
  • 4 lbs chicken wings
  • 1 jalapeño pepper, minced
  • 12 oz Sriracha hot sauce
  • 4 Tbsp salted butter
  • 1 Tbsp white vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp fresh lime juice

 

METHOD

  1. In a large bowl, mix 2 Tbsp Acala Farms Fresh Roasted Garlic Cottonseed Oil, cayenne pepper, mustard, black pepper and Acala Farms Chili Cumin Cottonseed Oil. Reserve 2 tbsp of sauce.
  2. Rinse and dry chicken wings.
  3. Toss wings in sauce, and let marinate for 2 hours
  4. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Arrange the wings on a rack over a baking sheet and bake for 45 to 55 minutes, turning halfway through.
  5. Meanwhile, in a small saucepan sauté minced jalapeño in 2 tbsp of Acala Farms Fresh Roasted Garlic Cottonseed Oil for 1 minute.
  6. Add the remaining 2 tbsp of sauce and Sriracha to the saucepan, bring to a simmer.
  7. Add butter, vinegar and lime juice. Stir until melted.
  8. Remove wings from oven and toss wings in sauce, serve immediately.
